Product Structure

This series of products consists of three parts: glass fiber epoxy resin pull rods, silicone rubber umbrella skirts, and hardware. The silicone rubber umbrella skirts are made by an integrated injection molding process, which solves the key problem affecting the reliability of composite insulators – interface electrical breakdown. The connection between the glass pull rods and the hardware adopts the most advanced crimping process, equipped with a fully automatic ultrasonic flaw detection system. It features high strength, attractive appearance, small size, light weight, and the hardware is galvanized to prevent rust. It can be used interchangeably with porcelain insulators. This product has a reliable structure, does not damage the core rod, and can fully exert its mechanical strength.

  • It has superior electrical performance and high mechanical strength. The internal load-bearing bad oxygen glass fiber pull rod has a bending strength twice that of ordinary steel and 8 to 10 times that of high-strength porcelain insulators, effectively enhancing the reliability of safe operation.
  • It has good anti-pollution performance and strong anti-pollution flashover capability. Its wet withstand voltage and pollution withstand voltage are 2 to 2.5 times that of porcelain insulators with the same creepage distance, and it does not require cleaning, allowing it to operate safely in heavily polluted areas.
  • It is small in size and light in weight (only 1/6 to 1/9 of porcelain insulators of the same voltage level), with a lightweight structure that is convenient for transportation and installation.
  • The silicone rubber umbrella skirt has excellent hydrophobic performance. Its overall structure ensures that the internal insulation does not get damp, eliminating the need for preventive insulation monitoring tests and cleaning, reducing daily maintenance workload.
  • It has good sealing performance and strong resistance to electrical erosion. The umbrella skirt material has a leakage tracking resistance level of TMA4.5, and it has good aging resistance, corrosion resistance, and low-temperature resistance, making it suitable for use in areas ranging from -40°C to +50°C.
  • It has strong impact resistance and anti-vibration performance. Its good anti-fragility and anti-creep properties make it less prone to breakage, with high bending and torsional strength, capable of withstanding internal pressure, and having strong explosion resistance. It can be used interchangeably with porcelain and glass insulators.
  • The composite insulator series products have superior mechanical and electrical performance compared to porcelain insulators, with a large safety margin in operation, making them an updated product for power lines.
